Happy Wednesday! 🙂

Normally I do a WIAW post, but I have been pretty terrible at taking pictures lately and don’t want to bore you by justtypingwhat I ate. Instead, I’m going to give you something different. I call it WIWOW. What I Worked Out Wednesday. Yeah…

I’ve been awesome this week and made it to the gym Monday AND this morning! I even got up with my 4:45 alarm this morning! Tuesday was an off day from running, even though I was going to run 2.5 miles, but couldn’t find my arm band for my iPhone which tracks my milage. Also, my right knee and shin was still bothering me from Saturday’s race, so I took that as a sign to rest a little longer.

Both gym sessions this week were pretty awesome. I did some different things than I normally do, so I’ll share with you my workouts for each day.



This 10-10-10 workout from Itty Bits of Balance

This was such a great change from the normal “treadmill warm up for 20 minutes then 40 minutes of slow circuits.” I was seriously sweaty the entire time!

Afterwards, I followed up with half of this ab routine from The Lean Green Bean



I went with yet another 10-10-10 workout that I loved equally as much!

No ab work today though. Mine are still sore from Monday!

So after today’s workout, I came home to shower and get ready for work. For some strange reason, definitely not because I overdosed on cocoa roasted almonds and cool ranch doritos last night, I was not wanting my normal breakfast foods. So to help my muscles recover from the awesome workout I just had, I blended myself up a delicious protein smoothie! Chocolate covered strawberry that I based off of a recipe I found on this post from The Fitnessista. I couldn’t link back to the original creator of the recipe for some reason. 😦

This is basically the only food picture I have to show you for today. Lunch was scarfed down too fast and dinner hasn’t happened yet. Sorry I’m a terrible person.
