1. I. Am. Exhausted. 😦

2. Pierre loves watching the squirrels outside.

3. Another meal eaten out of a festive dish! This time it was a Chobani yogurt mess for breakfast.

4. We had another youth get baptized last night! Her parents came, and it was so sweet!

5. I busted Chad at his office this afternoon. Chocolates on his desk and a cupcake wrapper in his garbage. 😉

FYI, I don’t care if he eats sweets. I’m just messing with him. 🙂

6. I just want to say again, I AM EXHAUSTED!

Your favorite tree ornament!

I knew exactly which ornament is my favorite. It’s not an ornament on mine and Chad’s tree, it’s an ornament on my parents’ tree. And before that, it was one my granddad’s tree.

Yep, that’s a Santa Claus with a broken leg. You see, my granddad (we called him Chief) had a very weird sense of humor. Every year, he would tell me and my brothers some terrifying story about how Santa was horribly injured. He had this ornament and told us one year that in fact, Santa had broken his leg and would not be delivering presents this year.

When he died, my parents’ started putting up his tree for Christmas instead of theirs, and with his tree came his ornaments. This ornament will always remind me of Chief and his crazy sense of humor. 🙂
